Spring Turn On Scheduling

1.) If you call for your turn-on in late March or April, we can do any needed repairs and adjustments and set the clock. We can leave the clock on "off" and when you feel it is time to start watering, you can turn the clock to auto and the system will water as programmed.

2.) If you call in May or June, please call at least seven to 10 days before you are ready for your turn-on. REMEMBER - your system should already be on before you do any planting, seeding or placement of sod.

3.) You must call us to schedule your turn on because we don't know whether you want your turn-on in April, May or June.

4.) Scheduling will be from 8:30 to 12:30 or from 12:30 to 5:30 time slots. We are sorry we cannot be more precise but we never know how many repairs will be needed at each house. We appreciate your patience.

5.) If your clock is on the outside of your house, you do not even have to be home. Just let us know when you have turned on the main sprinkler valve (usually in the basement with our bright orange or red tag on it), and we will be able to take care of you anytime.

Winterizing Schedule

1.) Winterizing consists of turning off the main water valve to lawn sprinker system and blowing air through the lines with our large compressors.

2.) Evermists starts winterizing systems from the 2nd week of September through December 23rd. After this date we are not responsible for any system still on.

3.) Please do not be alarmed if temperatures drop below freezing at night. It takes approximately 10 to 15 hours of below freezing temperatures to do damage to the system.

4.) Scheduling will be in two to three-hour time slots (ie. 8:30 to 11:00, or 1:00 to 3:00).

5.) If your clock is on the outside of your house, you do not even have to be home. Just let us know when you have turned off the sprinkler valve (usually in the basement with our bright orange or red tag on it), and we will be able to take care of you anytime. You will know your system has been winterized when you receive you invoice.
