The rain sensor switch is commonly located on the right side of the clock, when it is installed by Evermist.
It is a silver toggle switch that has an "on/off" indicator. This is known as a by-pass switch. The switch should always be in the "off" position, which means the rain sensor is active. If the switch is in the "on" position, you are bypassing the rain sensor and the system will work, no matter how much rain has fallen.
Some clocks come with their own switches. These switches should be used as indicated on the clock. Normally, "on" means the rain sensor is active, and "off" means the rain sensor is bypassed.
Examples: Weathermatic RM series, Iirattrol Dial series, Rainbird ESP series, Hardie Total Control.
